This combination consists of two devices:
1. 144 - 146 MHz High Selectivity, High Q, Low Loss Bandpass Filter
2. SPF-5122Z Wideband Low Noise Amplifier

Achieves slightly better results than separate components. Lower NF about 0.05 to 0.1 dB. Thanks to two less connectors.

Thanks to input filtering this preamplifier and band pass filter combination are much more immune to interference from strong signals out of the band.

Power consumption +12 V / 90 mA.

These excellent results were achieved by careful selection of components and design.

This type of filter will almost nothing disturb noise performance of SPF-5122Z which is especially important in terrestrial and EME (Earth - Moon - Earth) communications. It will further ensure smooth operation in the presence of strong signals.

-1db compression point happened with -3dBm input signal level."
